From November 4th to 7th, the 18th “Revitalization Cup” National Youth Vocational Skills Competition (Innovation and Efficiency) was held in Chongqing. The competition was hosted by the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security. The theme of the competition was “Striving Forward to Embark on a New Journey, Embracing Responsibility to Build New Achievements.” More than 1,200 young employees from enterprises and institutions across the country participated, with 846 specialized competition projects advancing to the national semi-finals and 254 projects reaching the finals. Shandong Province ultimately won 6 gold, 11 silver, and 6 bronze awards, ranking first in both the number of gold awards and the total number of medals, achieving its best results in history.
Hu Sheng, Secretary of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, Liu Xinchang, First-Level Inspector of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, and other leaders attended the meeting and presented awards to some of the winners. At the sharing session, winners from the past two competitions and representatives of young scholars shared innovative projects such as “Deep Sea No. 1,” precise landing of Mars exploration, and the construction of a marine ranching observation network.
The project “Process Research and Application of New Energy Light Electric Drive Axle Manufacturing Process,” submitted by Ji Yanbin from our company’s Axle Process Department as the primary author and contestant, successfully advanced to the national finals after rigorous selection and review at the Shandong Provincial Competition. Following an excellent presentation and Q&A session with the judges, the project won a silver award in the national finals.
