On May 12th, the second Qingte Group Billiards Tournament kicked off. After a week of fierce competition, the finals took place as scheduled on May 19th. A total of seven teams participated in the tournament: “Precision Transmission Team,” “Axle Functional Team,” “Components Team,” “Zhongli Assembly Team,” “Technical Center Team,” “Zhongli Machining Team,” and “Fengyun Mengshi Team.” The competition was divided into four stages: preliminary rounds, challenge rounds, semi-finals, and finals. Each team fought their way through the competition, striving for the championship.
In the preliminary rounds, the atmosphere was incredibly lively. The players from each team were full of energy and high spirits. The “Fengyun Mengshi Team” skillfully laid out their strategies on the table with meticulous thinking and a composed playing style; the “Precision Transmission Team” displayed passion and energy on the court, often producing unexpected and exciting shots; the “Axle Functional Team” played a sharp and aggressive style, scoring numerous brilliant goals and drawing cheers from the audience. Some teams successfully advanced, while those that fell behind remained undeterred, gathering after the match to exchange ideas, summarize their experiences, and look forward to showcasing their skills in future competitions.
In the challenge rounds, the competition intensified. The sounds of balls colliding, hitting, and cheering from the audience blended into an exciting symphony. The “Technical Center Team” and the “Zhongli Machining Team” successfully advanced to the semifinals. After this competition, the semifinal teams were determined, and the event entered its most intense phase, with a vibrant atmosphere.
On the final day, the third-place match was held, between the “Zhongli Machining Team” and the “Technical Center Team.” From the start, both teams quickly found their rhythm. The “Zhongli Machining Team” skillfully positioned themselves, seeking offensive opportunities; the “Technical Center Team” actively defended, waiting for a counter-attack. The audience watched intently, cheering or sighing with each roll of the ball. Ultimately, the “Technical Center Team” won third place with an outstanding performance.
The championship match was between the “Parts Team” and the “Zhongli Assembly Team.” The moment these two formidable teams took to the field, cheers erupted from the crowd. Throughout the match, both sides traded blows, neither giving an inch. The “Components Team,” with their superb skills and excellent teamwork, gained a slight advantage; while the “Assembly Team,” through tenacity and outstanding performance, steadily narrowed the gap. Every brilliant goal drew cheers and thunderous applause from the audience. Ultimately, the “Components Team,” with their consistent performance, retained their championship title, while the “Assembly Team” took second place.
Amidst enthusiastic applause, Ji Yichun, Vice President of Qingte Group, Ji Guoqing, Chairman of the Trade Union, and Cui Xianyang, Minister of the Party and Mass Work Department, presented banners and prizes to the champion, runner-up, and third-place teams. The three teams received their trophies and certificates, their faces beaming with joy and pride. The leaders shook hands with the winning teams and offered their congratulations, encouraging everyone to maintain their enthusiasm for sports and bring the fighting spirit from the competition to their work.
The second Qingte Group Billiards Tournament concluded successfully amidst laughter and cheers.
